FPC Happenings

Dear God, As we embark on a new school year, we gather in your presence seeking your guidance, wisdom, and grace.

For all students, may they approach each day with curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Grant them the strength to overcome challenges, the courage to ask questions, and the joy of discovering new things.

For all teachers, bless them with patience, creativity, and a heart for their students. May they find fulfillment in shaping young minds and nurturing a love for learning.

For all staff, may their efforts behind the scenes create an environment of efficiency and care. Grant them the energy to serve with excellence and the ability to support the school community.

For all parents, bless them with wisdom and understanding as they support their children's growth. May they find comfort in knowing that you are watching over their families.

Lord, we ask for health, protection, and safety within the school walls. May this school year be marked by friendship, growth, and achievements both big and small.

In Jesus' name, we pray for a successful and blessed new school year for all. Amen.

Our ladies' lunch group recently had a delightful trip to Hen and Egg in Newton, and it was an absolute treat! Ladies enjoyed each other's company, shared stories and strengthened their bonds. A perfect day spent with even more perfect company!

Our next lunch is August 9th at 11:30 at Casa Azul! Hope to see you there! Sign up at the church or call the church office to sign up! Friends are always welcome!

At FPC Newton, we cherish the bonds of sisterhood and the nurturing community that our women's ministry provides. Recently, we had the pleasure of gathering for our latest "Well Isn't That Special" lunch group meeting at the bistro at Abernathy Laurels. This gathering offered an opportunity for women to come together, share stories, find encouragement, and deepen their relationships with one another.

The Bistro Lunch at Abernathy was a hit, with close to 30 individuals joining in the lunch! We will be planning another in September! Thank you to Erma Yaussy for being our hostess.

Our women's ministry is committed to nurturing sisterhood, empowering women to embrace their unique stories, and journeying together toward a deeper relationship with God. We are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to gather and grow as a community of strong, faith-filled women. Come and be a part of our sisterhood at FPC Newton! All are welcome!
