Palm Sunday Event at FPC Newton
Thanks to our Middle & High School Youth for hosting the Easter egg hunt for the children of our church this morning. Thanks to Christian Education Committee for a great breakfast and lesson for the children while we hid 500 stuffed eggs. Also thanks to the youth for helping our children celebrate Palm Sunday by walking into worship with palm branches!

Busy Weekend for FPC Newton Youth
This has been a busy weekend for FPC Newton Middle & High School youth. Started Friday night at 7:00 p.m. with an All Night Lock-In beginning with preparation for Easter Egg Hunt next Sunday. Then we went to see "The Greatest Showman" which is an amazing movie! Yes, the guys were a little unsure of going to see this movie. Thanks to chaperones Jason & Laura Sparks. MOVIE DAY FOR FPC NEWTON YOUTH
Twenty-one youth and adults enjoyed "A Wrinkle in Time" this afternoon. It was an thought provoking movie about focusing about the light and not the darkness in the world. Thanks to our chaperones Angela Cable, Ann Stalnaker and Michelle Kirby.


First Presbyterian Church in Newton Youth Visit Homebound
Twenty-one youth and adults spent the afternoon visiting church members who are Homebound and served communion. Visiting is a very important skill that we should all learn to do and eventually become comfortable doing. Thanks to chaperones and drivers Amy Owensby and Rob Inscoe and to our elders Amy Loyer, Donald Duncan and Rob Inscoe who administered communion.
