FPCNEWTON High School Youth 2018 Mission Trip

Ten youth and three adults from First Presbyterian Church in Newton recently traveled to Eastern Tennessee to help refurbish homes and landscape area for families & organizations in need.
The group lived at the Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church Mission Center near Greeneville and worked at several locations. Team members built a deck which will be finished by the next mission team, beautification of a home that had been cited by the city, beautification project of Historic cemetery, painted a home and storage building, helped prepare boxes for upcoming Operation Christmas Child Project and laid carpet squares and planted flowers at the Presbyterian Mission Center.
This is the 9th mission trip to Cedar Creek Presbyterian Mission Center that First Presbyterian High School Youth have participated.
First Presbyterian Newton is located at 701 N. Main Avenue and has a long tradition of mission work in Catawba County, in the Southeast and overseas.
