Souper Bowl of Caring a Success

First Presbyterian Church- Newton Middle & High School Youth hosted Souper Bowl of Caring 2018 on Sunday, January 28th following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Due to the catered meal in honor of our interim Pastor Connie Button, we did not prepare our traditional soup, sandwiches and dessert meal.

Our goal this year was to raise $1,000 in honor of Pastor Connie's ministry at FPC Newton for the past 16 months. Our congregation doubled that amount!!! We collected $2,000 which will be split equally between Eastern Cooperative Christian Ministries & The Corner Table of Newton.

Thanks to all the youth and parents that assisted with the preparation, serving and clean up for this event!
