FPC Happenings

We’re still on the road. Ruth prepared peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and snacks for us to eat along the way. It has been a wild ride so far. The roads are absolutely horrible, full of potholes. As Big John says “this is an absolute free for all,” dodging all this traffic and potholes and trying not to hit the people walking along the road or the motorcycles who decide tho create their own lane up the middle. #middleofnowhere #15gringosaccountedfor #FPCNewton

This afternoon we asked the children of the community to join us in recreation. Here are just a few snapshots of the children making bracelets, jumping rope, playing soccer and just having some good old fashion fun and games. Post by Michelle Kirby.

This morning we loaded up on the truck with all of our supplies and headed back to Domingo’s house for the second phase of our work. So grateful for the men in our group who are able to do some of the heaving lifting , because not only do we have to beak down the metal forms, they have to carry them back to the truck to take to another home to built latrines, but before that is done we must scrape all the concrete off the forms and clean them, this is how they are to reuse them. It sure does take a village to make all these moving parts work.
